Bringing Joy Back

Okay, so I'm back (again, get a life Jeremy). Since my last blog entry a lot of things have changed in my life, namely my attitude and perception. I have come to some realizations, found my own successes and am now content with the outcomes. My amazing hubby has helped me stay in check and my friends helped to pick up my broken pieces. Glad to be moving forward, finding myself and making my own niche. And this has been a great summer!
Just a recap so we can move forward!
Cole:
Big man stayed super busy this summer. He attended many sports camps including local soccer and basketball and soccer academy at UD. His baseball team won first in their league and won their end of the season tourney. He played on a 3v3 team and they won runner up. He spent some time at the pool tanning his body and avoiding the girls. He is now starting his fall soccer season. Their team is being coached by our high schools varsity coach and is playing in the Buckeye Premier League which has the best teams in all of Ohio and Kentucky. Lots of traveling in store for us starting with next weekend when we will go to Bowling Green for a tourney in which they will play in the u12 (they are only 10) age group in the highest division. Yes, they are that good!!
Avery:
Avery too spent a big portion of her summer at various camps. She attended gymnastics camp, cheer camp and an intensive with the Dayton Ballet. She loved the technique and style of dance that she learned there, we were researching new studios to give her more options. She will definately be going back to Dayton next summer for their program again. She celebrated her big 9 year old birthday this summer with out any fanfare, she is amazing like that! I wish I had her personality, never a care in the world, doesn't ever ask "what about me?". Love that girl!
Emerson:
Our little peanut has really come out of her shell! At the end of the season dance recital she was making new friends and having fun shining on stage. She enjoyed time at the pool most of all where she learned how to swim unassisted and jump off the diving board with no bribing on my end. She went to dance camp, soccer camp and gymnastics camp this summer, learning new things and making new friends everywhere she went. She is eager to start Kindergarten next week and welcome the school days chapter of her life. I'm ready too!!
Brin:
Brin is by far our most fearless child. She is constantly climbing or jumping, always testing out her boundaries. She still doesn't have a lot to say, at least nothing that we understand. She too loves the pool, has no problem jumping in sometimes when you aren't even looking and getting her face wet. She has entered the "its mine" and hitting to get it back stage. Lovely!
So loyal blog readers (Jeremy et al) there is no more need for concern. I'm seeing clearly now, loving my family and grateful for my friends that I have. See you again in 6 months.
