We rang it in with our usual posse, minus one family plus another... all with standing invites for years to come (except the Eberharts who will start to receive formal, paper invites and a save the date notice in June). We have a blast just hanging out, playing games and consuming some beverages. The kids break off into their age appropriate groupings, sometimes intermingling which never ends well (only a little blood this year). We played some farkle party and had some laughs using the word farkle as verbs, nouns, adjectives etc. Congrats to Jeremy with his come from behind domination over everyone!
This morning, I have cleaned my craft room and made room for the scrapbooking to come out. It will be dusty and unorganized, but its coming out today!! My goal is to get a grasp on organizing it, and I'm hoping to attend an overnight crop on Jan 14. and look at me, 2 blog posts in under 24 hours.
